Why the Programme Was Developed

The Parental Wellbeing Programme was originally developed and introduced within a Family Assessment Unit in response to an identified need for structured parental wellbeing support.

Alongside parenting support and practical intervention, the programme provides dedicated opportunities for parents to focus on their own wellbeing, confidence, coping strategies and personal goals.

The programme recognises that parental wellbeing is an important part of positive family outcomes.

What Makes the Programme Different?

The Parental Wellbeing Programme provides a structured framework whilst remaining personalised to each parent's individual needs and circumstances.

Typically delivered over 6-12 structured sessions, the programme combines wellbeing assessment, reflection, goal setting and personalised support to help
parents work towards meaningful and sustainable change.
